I just had the best girlfriend weekend. We all agreed that from now on we have to do these regularly and hope that as many of us that can come will come, but the days of trying to get a date that we can all come is over. We need these times to refill our tanks and laugh until we cry. We didn’t make any agenda, we just went with what the waves told us, which for us was RELAX!
If there is one thing that I know heading into 50 fast is that my girlfriends have made the journey so much better. Taking time out of our busy lives and just giving ourselves no agenda and laughing and laughing and laughing…what could be better? We don’t always have a weekend, so make sure you at least get a girl’s night once in a while. Make that a priority in your life. It’s part of the balance that makes me feel whole.
I am lucky and have amazing women in my life who show up when I need them most and I am so so so grateful. So, if you haven’t had your girlfriend fix lately, it’s time to make a date and laugh till you tinkle from your eyes or elsewhere, what? It happens!
